Production Intern

Responsibilities may include:

  • Cutting garments using electric rotary cutters and fabric sheers.

  • Preparing and bundling  garments after cutting to be ready for sewing.

  • Sewing garments using industrial straight stitch sewing machine and serger.

Qualifications:

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university in an apparel program.
  • Experience using sewing machine (not imperative to have industrial machine experience).
  • Willingness to receive academic credit for the internship.
  • High energy, friendly and self-motivated personality.
  • Willingness to learn and continually improve.
  • Willingness to commit to living in Charlotte, NC for the duration of the internship.

Studio Intern

Responsibilities may include:

  • Receiving fabric shipments and inspecting bolts.
  • Cutting garments using electric rotary cutters and fabric sheers.
  • Packaging orders and preparing for shipment.
  • Assist with organizing inventory.
  • day-to-day studio tasks (stamping packaging boxes/envelopes, assembling hangtags, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university in an apparel program.
  • Willingness to receive academic credit for the internship.
  • High energy, friendly and self-motivated personality.
  • Willingness to learn and continually improve.
  • Willingness to commit to living in Charlotte, NC for the duration of the internship.
